The ground-floor restaurant space at 3463 Walnut Street in Denver's River North (RiNo) neighborhood has been leased to Risica LLC, led by Chef Andrea Frizzi, on a 10-year NNN term.
Located at the base of Edit RiNo, a mixed-use development with 373 residential units above, the 2,166 SF space includes a 477 SF patio. It sits alongside a ground-floor retail mix featuring Rowdy Poppy Floral, Revision Coffee at Sidebar, and a second MakFam location.
The space was delivered in grey shell condition, with architecture and design by Brandon Anderson of LIV Studio, the Denver firm behind Denver Central Market and many of the city's best loved hospitality interiors.
Risica is Chef Andrea Frizzi's newest concept, following nearly two decades shaping Denver's Italian dining scene, from Il Posto on 17th Avenue and later at 26th and Larimer, to Vero Italian at Denver Central Market and Denver International Airport. The name comes from an Italian proverb, "chi non risica, non rosica," meaning no risk, no reward. The menu will center on Milanese-style wood-fired pizza al trancio, a fresh oyster bar, charcuterie and Italian cheeses, and a wine and aperitivi program. The oven is a Mugnaini built on a Valoriani core.
Risica is expected to open in the summer of 2026.
